Health & safety

Our mutual safety is my priority.

PREempt CS20.jpg

Tool Sterilization

All tools used during services get scrubbed with a brush, soap and hot water, then soaked in 70% Isopropyl Alcohol or PREempt CS20 for at least 20 minutes, as per TPH Body Safe guidelines. After drying, tools get stored in a closed container after sterilizing.

Including (but isn't limited to): extractors, tweezers, scissors, lash lifting rods, shields and lifting tools, spatulas, measuring spoons, and non-disposable lash tint applicators.

Items like a non-disposable mask or peel brushes get scrubbed with soap and hot water, towel-dried, then bristles dipped in 70% Alcohol and laid to dry.

Waxing: No double-dipping; a new stick gets used for every dive in the pot.

surface Sterilization

After each service, everything touched during that service is cleaned according to product directions (sprayed, left for 3 minutes, wiped dry) with either 70% Isopropyl Alcohol or PREempt RTU Surface Disinfectant.

Including (but not limited to): bowls, counter, tap, bed, cart and steamer rails, magnifying lamp & handle, any equipment on/off switches and buttons used, wax warmer surfaces touched, closet handles, cupboard handles, towel oven handle, all product containers used, cotton pad canister, my seat back, and the equipment tray. The light switch gets wiped last.

Linens are washed on a sanitary cycle with a splash of bleach and dried on hot. If you would like to use the washroom, I'll give you a clean towel for just your use and handles/knobs sanitized.

Covid-19 Prevention Measures

I have added additional safety measures in keeping with Toronto Public Health Guidelines for Personal Service Settings.

My family and I have been and will get vaccinated to the maximum we are eligible for, and I invite you to ask for my passport. I have TPH provided rapid tests on hand should anyone in my household feel unwell and re-book appointments if necessary. I wear a mask for all services, and clients will wear masks where possible (facials and upper lip waxes make it impossible). I wash my hands at the start of each service and again if I touch my face or hair.

You will always use the separate back entrance, closed off from the rest of the house. I will take your temperature, and your contact info is on your health history form should I need to notify you of exposure risk. Services have more time in-between than regular times to allow air to circulate.

I ask that you only book if you are fully vaccinated and re-book if you or anyone in your household is feeling unwell.
