My mission is to provide treatments that help you get out the door with less fuss in the morning.
With this in mind, I have thoughtfully curated the service menu with luxurious treatments to maximize your pampering experience while providing hair-free skin, lifted lashes, defined brows, and healthy, glowing skin. I can also help you establish a simple and effective skincare routine at home, with a clearer understanding of which ingredients will benefit you and how and when to incorporate them.
Rest assured, my basement treatment room has a separate entrance, ensuring uninterrupted sessions. Since opening, I've consistently earned the Body Safe Green Pass, an unconditional seal of approval from the health inspector.

Hi, I'm Shawna
Welcome to Studio Twenty-One Esthetics! With over twenty years of experience in skincare, Shawna is your dedicated beauty ally, ready to guide you on your skincare journey.

Shawna has a diverse background in the beauty industry. She started as a manager and buyer for a popular beauty shop and salon, a precursor to Sephora, where she curated a range of coveted brands like Fresh and Essie. She also served as a Product Knowledge Trainer at a large beauty supply chain and worked at Kiehl's, sharing her passion for understanding ingredients and their benefits.
In addition to her time at Kiehl's, Shawna has extensive training and experience with brands such as Dermalogica, Phytomer, Jane Iredale, Dove (spa line), Peter Thomas Roth, and the Korean beauty brand Hubislab.

After earning her Makeup Artistry and Advanced Esthetics diplomas from the Yorkville School of Makeup and Esthetics, Shawna gained over six years of invaluable experience as an esthetician at two busy Toronto spas. After taking time off to start her family, in 2017 she opened her home-based studio, combining her expertise and passion for personalized skincare.
